Frequently Asked Questions

A quick guide to the questions we’re most often asked about surveys, pricing and how we work, so you know what to expect before we arrive on site.

Do you charge for surveys?

For most local projects we carry out surveys so we can see the installation, understand your requirements and provide an accurate quote; if a survey fee applies for complex or remote work, we’ll always agree this upfront.

How quickly can you attend a call‑out?

Response times depend on workload and location, but we prioritise safety‑critical issues and emergencies, and we’ll always give you a clear indication of the earliest available slot when you contact the office.

Are you fully qualified and accredited

Yes – all our electricians are fully qualified and the business is accredited and regularly assessed by recognised industry bodies, including registration for domestic, commercial and industrial work.

Do you offer out‑of‑hours or weekend work?

Where needed, we can plan evening or weekend work, particularly for commercial and industrial clients who need to keep operations running; this is discussed and agreed during the survey and quoting stage.

Can you help with small jobs as well as major contracts?

Absolutely – we look after everything from a single faulty socket or lighting upgrade right through to full rewires, new builds and large multi‑phase projects.

Will I receive paperwork and certification after the job?

Yes, where applicable we provide test results, certificates and any other required documentation so you have a clear record for compliance, insurance and future maintenance.

Ready to get your electrical work sorted?

If you know what you need, or just know something is not right, the best first step is a site visit. Book a survey and we will assess your home or premises, explain your options in plain language and give you a clear, no-obligation quote.
